Shortly after we launched our website in 2014, we opened up a small showroom in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood that doubled as our headquarters (after all, we’re all about efficiency). This month, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our flagship location in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, which we call our Guideshop Location (a term coined by our good friends at Bonobos).
The I/D Guideshop Location represents our vision for the future of furniture retail. We are an online brand, but value the opportunity to meet our customers in person, to witness people interacting with our products, and to receive valuable feedback. In our new space, we focus squarely on what we do best: beautifully-crafted and highly customizable sofas and chairs. Walk into our Guideshop, and you will immediately notice the steps to defining your perfect sofa.
Customers have the opportunity to sit in a collection of our most popular designs; all displayed in timeless, neutral fabrics. You have the opportunity to test any of our 50 fabrics by draping large samples (all hanging from the walls) over any sofa frame. After you select the perfect frame, fabric, and size (which we can customize to meet nearly any space requirement), you can select custom legs from a brand new assortment of wood and metal options (coming online soon).
We pride ourselves on delivering a differentiated customer experience, and our Design Associates in the Guideshop are the same individuals who answer phone-calls, respond to customer emails, and send our complimentary swatch packets. We believe we are building the most seamless, unique, and knowledgable customer service approach in furniture — which is one (of several) details that set Interior Define apart.
There is more exciting news to come, including new Guideshop locations. As always, we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible customers and friends who make our brand possible.
